Conveniently located in the heart of Europe, Berlin is a place where people come to experience a clash of tradition and modernity with a sprinkling of cultures from all around the globe. As well as being chock full of history and the monuments that come with it, Berlin features a variety of subcultures that are truly conducive to street photographer with a pendant for exploration. Whether it comes to the classic sights, portraits in the streets, or abandoned buildings, Berlin has something for everyone.
The suggested itinerary is as follows:
Suggested is a 4 – 6 hour period that includes exploring the Mitte Areas, including Alexander Plaza, Museum Island, and eventually winding our way to the Holocaust memorial and the Brandenburg gate. Along the way we will practice and hone your travel photography, getting pointers on how to best frame, capture, and imagine the photos you take. Alternatively, you can explore one of Berlin’s many subcultures as we make our way through the Kreuzberg neighborhood and walk towards Alexander Plaza and finish in Museum Island. Having said that, due to the varied nature of Berlin, this trip is available upon request and will be customized personally for your group’s preferences. An option for biking is available, which extends the range of exploration, but each participant will be responsible for arranging their own bicycle for the tour.
